Standard

Traditional frame play, full 15 reds, no shot clock. The format for a normal, unhurried frame.

Shoot-Out

10-minute frame, 15-second shot clock that tightens to 10 seconds in the final 5 minutes. Whoever's ahead when time runs out wins the frame — built for fast, broadcast-friendly club nights.

Snooker 900 — requires Pro

15-minute frame, 20-second shot clock, and any foul grants ball-in-hand — a faster, more forgiving-of-mistakes variant than Shoot-Out, tuned for a livelier watch.

6-Red and 10-Red

Club formats that trim the reds count to 6 or 10 instead of 15, for a shorter frame without changing the pace of play. No shot clock — same free-flowing feel as Standard, just quicker to finish.
