Correcting a pot

Pot entries can be edited, deleted, or inserted at any point in the log — useful for a pot recorded for the wrong ball, logged twice, or missed entirely. Fouls appear in the log for context but aren't directly editable here.

Why a correction can be rejected

Before saving, your correction replays the entire frame from the first shot through the rules engine that scores matches live — the same engine, not a separate check. If the edit would make a later shot illegal (for example, potting two reds in a row), the whole correction is rejected with an explanation instead of being silently applied and leaving the frame in an inconsistent state.
